Painting and crafting with my grandma and mom is one of my earliest and favorite memories. So it isn’t a surprise, I have always found a way to be busy learning and creating art. From jewelry making to weaving to painting, most of my artistic journeys have been self-taught and inspired by other amazing artists. I would describe most of my art as whimsical and eclectic – usually with a lot of color!
Since moving to Nebraska, much of my art also includes my interpretation of rural farm landscapes. I especially enjoy experimenting with acrylic paint on canvas, wood, and glass. I also love to help others tap into their artistic side. I offer paint parties and classes for all ages and ability levels. Groups of friends, coworkers, and 4-H club members have all ended up successful artists under my step-by-step guidance and encouragement! Originally from Northern California, I have called Aurora, Nebraska home for 12 years. My husband, Phil, and l enjoy hiking, fishing, live music, playing with our dog and farm cats, and traveling.
