I am a Traumatic Grief & Loss Therapist, Art Therapist, and EMDR Therapist, and a grief author and illustrator. Grief is my professional passion and inspires me to write and create art that heals the heart. I begin my pieces with watercolor paintings and colored pencils, and then enhance my art through a digital painting process. My two art series were shown at Studio 10 in Grand Island: “Sorrow Inspirational Grief Art” in 2022 and the whimsical, fun “Sun & Moon” in 2023. It is such an honor to be asked to be a part of Aurora’s Art Walk, and have the opportunity to show my grief art, grief comfort cards, sun & moon art, and greeting cards.
In 2016, I leapt into the digital art world to start producing my Sorrow Inspirational Grief and Loss comfort cards as companion to my adult grief workbook “A Place Called Sorrow”. Now, they are used by local funeral homes. One month ago I donated 600 copies of “A Book About Me” to Guardian Light Family Services. In October and November, I will lead workshops at MONA. My books are on Amazon and Grief Comfort Cards are on Etsy.
