Energy. Color. Texture. Composition.
Julies Noyes is influenced by her travels and studies in China, Italy, Russia, Egypt, Scandinavia, France, Ireland, Spain, and Alaska. Her abstract expressionistic style focuses on energy, color, texture, composition, and various themes that are not always obvious. Noyes encourages the viewer to interpret their own visual experience.
Noyes received a Bachelor’s Degree from Wayne State and a Masters degree from UNK before moving to Lincoln, NE where she now lives and works. She has always loved teaching art workshops at all educational levels and offers classes at the Noyes Art Gallery, which she has owned and operated for over 30 years.
