Rebekah Schenk is a self taught potter from Edgar, Nebraska. She grew up in Detroit Michigan and learned survival and independence early. Other than some brief schooling in ceramics and an elderly woman who she would see throw pottery on her way home from school, the art of pottery did not pose as an option until three years ago. “Thanks to my husband, Ron, I found myself at a point in my life where things could slow down. I could do something just for me.” Her inspiration comes from books, photos, and music. “My husband has been the beginning and constant in starting this business” states Rebekah. “The internet has played a big part in education and information.”
