Teresa Miller • Studio TJM • Fiber Arts & Jewelry

Studio TJM started as a small business for my creative energies and artistic passions. One project will often lead to another, and I enjoy making and creating every day! I visualize and get inspiration for my work from my travels, other creative souls, and images and ideas that come to me as I’m working or meditating. I enjoy traveling and experiencing and learning about different cultures and their arts, crafts, and food. I have been in the performing arts for a lifetime as a dancer and dance teacher and have found my creative passion in other forms now too. I oftentimes will start a piece not fully knowing where it will go, and intuitively it will visualize and come to me as I’m creating. I love this about my work and my process. I find joy and quiet, meditative time in all that I do, whether it be the fiber arts-macrame or weaving, jewelry-beading or silversmithing and working with gemstones, or crocheting. Adding textures to found pieces of Nebraska driftwood is one of my favorite ways to create a woven wall hanging, incorporating different techniques from macrame, and weaving together in one piece. I love to do custom pieces for clients, if you don’t see it, please contact me and I can create something special for your space. I would love to bring your vision to life!
