I started flame working glass somewhere around 10 years ago. I started making jewelry several years before that. It was a natural to put them together. I have been able t devote more time and energy to my habit this year as I was able to retire in January.
Each piece I make is unique, I don't like to make the same thing twice. I like to stretch myself and learn different techniques so my jewelry style changes regularly.
I have named my business Prairie Fire in homage to the flame in the torch I use to make the glass beads.
